Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s hypocrisy was on full display this week in the House of Commons, as he was answering question on the topic of female genital mutilation (FGM).

FGM is the brutal cultural practice that mutilates a young woman’s genitals and has been carried out on an estimated 200 million girls and women worldwide — most prominently in North Africa and the Middle East.

News reports over the summer, however, revealed how FGM is increasingly practised in Canada, and that our border guards are on the lookout for tools commonly used by FGM practitioners.

As I reported exclusively in the Sun, the website Muslims in Calgary posted an article that justified and even encouraged this practice within the Islamic faith. Following my report, the organization quickly apologized and retracted the disturbing essay.

How can you be confused when you never had a clue to begin with?  Beyond umbrages to the victim group of the politically opportune moment, and virtue-signaling his bona fides to fans, there is no more substance to be had in any of his so-called policy announcements.  To paraphrase, there is no “there”, there.

It’s all Kabuki theatre for political entertainment.  And, no, it does not have to be logical, consistent or coherent – only newsworthy.

Possibly Trudeau is simply following his dad’s lead in showing his ‘broadmindedness’ by making islam equal with Christianity which requires suppressing Christianity and abetting islam.  I believe that to be a common trait amongst the ‘intellectual’ class in western democracies.  Of course members of said class are completely ignorant of the differences between the two and to be honest are ashamed of their own Christian background since, they believe, it makes them look anti intellectual.  After all to them their intellectual religion trumps all other religions except of course they do not grasp that their ‘intellectual’ religion is a religion… Read more »

Trudeau is merely confused?  Ah… it goes much deeper than that.  Explained here….. In the face of this change there is a growing recognition in Canada that, to borrow again from Shakespeare, the enlightened principles of Justin Trudeau are merely, “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” Instead of standing on principle at the United Nations to defend a nation’s right to build an embassy in the city of its choice, or, conversely, to condemn the United States for aggravating the situation in the Middle East, Trudeau meekly abstained from voting.
